The sixth Kincora Trad Fest will take place over the weekend of the 12th – 14th October in Killaloe and Ballina.

The festival takes it’s name from the ‘Palace of Kincora’ the home of the High King of Ireland Brian Ború which stood on ‘The Green’ in the heritage village of Killaloe.

We have put together a packed program of music, song and dance workshops, concerts, sessions and more.

The Thomas McDonagh and St Patrick’s Pipe Bands return as do our popular Rolling Wave Sessions on board The Spirit of Killaloe which depart from Ballina Quay on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October.

We’re excited to announce that our Saturday evening concert this year takes place in the ballroom at the Lakeside Hotel Ballina and will be hosted by Clare FM’s Paula Carroll.

This year we launch our very first funding initiative, The Kincora Investor’s Program, the aim of which is to help us raise funds towards the festival’s running costs and ensure it’s sustainability into the future. The program consists of four levels of sponsorship Supporter – Investor – Sponsor and Cultivator. Full details of the program are available on a dedicated website that will remain open for pledges year round for individuals and companies to help support tradition – Kincora Investors Program
